Water Sense

WaterSense is a voluntary partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The program provides labeling of water-efficient products and serves as a resource for water conservation. The WaterSense label makes it simple to find water-efficient products that meet EPA’s criteria for efficiency and performance. WaterSense-labeled products and services are certified to use at least 20 percent less water, save energy, and perform as well as or better than regular models.

WaterSense partners with manufacturers and other groups to bring water conservation to the communities it serves. These partnerships encourage innovation in manufacturing and support sustainable jobs for American workers.

Alliance for Water Efficiency

T&S Brass is an organizational member of The Alliance for Water Efficiency, a stakeholder-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water across North America and beyond. Headquartered in Chicago, the Alliance serves as an advocate for water-efficient products and programs, and provides information and assistance on water conservation efforts. A diverse Board of Directors governs the organization and has adopted a set of guiding principles and strategic plan. As a leader in sustainability, T&S is proud to support the Alliance for Water Efficiency and its mission to promote the efficient and sustainable use of water.

The U.S. Green Building Council

Since 2013, T&S Brass has been a member of The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), supporting the organization’s commitment to transforming how buildings are designed, constructed, and operated through Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). Its mission is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.

Green Restaurant Association

The Green Restaurant Association (GRA), an international nonprofit organization, encourages restaurants to green their operations using transparent, science-based certification standards. With its turnkey certification system, the GRA has made it accessible for thousands of restaurants to become more environmentally sustainable in energy, water, waste, food, chemicals, disposables, and building. In addition to restaurants, GRA works with manufacturers, and distributors to fulfill its mission of greening the restaurant industry.
