T&S introduces Safe-T-Guard gas safety valve for kitchens

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. - October 9, 2020 - T&S Brass and Bronze Works has expanded its Safe-T-Link appliance connector family of products with a new safety valve designed to prevent workplace injuries and fire hazards. 

The new Safe-T-Guard gas hose safety shut-off valve prevents accidental gas flow when the appliance is disconnected. Safe-T-Guard functions as both a quick-disconnect and a full port brass ball valve.

"This product enhances safety in the kitchen by ensuring staff can't accidentally turn on the gas when the appliance is disconnected or disconnect the equipment until the gas is off," said Eva-Marie Fox, T&S' vice president of marketing. "Like all our Safe-T-Link products, it was designed with the highest standards of durability and safety in mind."

Internal thermal shut-off provides additional safety by shutting off gas supply within a temperature range of 250-300 degrees. 

Safe-T-Guard features easy, one-handed operation and is available as an option with 1/2", 3/4" and 1" NPT Safe-T-Link appliance connectors.
